Behavioral Health

The primary focus of services is to assist individuals struggling with mental health or substance use concerns to maintain as much independence as possible and lessen the risk of hospitalization.  Assistance is provided to restore and preserve functioning in the primary aspects of daily living, such as work, recreation and maintenance of stable housing.

  • Adult Mental Health Targeted Case Management 
  • Home and Community Based Waiver Services 
  • Bridges Housing Program
  • Service coordination, to include referrals for mental health services and placement as needed. 
  • Civil Commitments, including the pre-petition screening process

  • The council seeks input from consumers, family members, mental health providers and others about the needs of adults diagnosed with a mental illness living in Beltrami County.

  • Comprehensive Assessments 
  • Treatment Coordination including determining financial eligibility for public funding for treatment 
  • Civil Commitments, including the pre-petition screening process
