PSA: Solid Waste Construction and Hours Update

October 24, 2025

Bemidji Transfer Station construction is nearing the end. Pavement will be starting today Friday 10/24, finishing on Monday. When concrete is poured the 24-Hour Lane will only be open to overnight traffic.  By then however we should be back to some normalcy, the parking lot finished. Thank you all for your patience and understanding during this time of construction. All ways consider a local commercial hauler for your curbside pickup, at a reasonable rate, and your convenience.

Blackduck Transfer Station

Beltrami County Solid Waste will be installing new concrete and awning in front of the compactors at the Blackduck Transfer Station.  Construction is expected to last until Mid-November. Please use caution around construction area and equipment. Thank you all for your patience and understanding during this time of construction. All ways consider a local commercial hauler for your curbside pickup, at a reasonable rate, and your convenience.

Beltrami County Demolition Landfill

Due to decreased traffic flow, we will be cutting back on the extended Saturday hours.  On November 1st, 2025, we will be changing the hours at the Demolition Landfill to 9AM – 1PM. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.
