PSA: SNAP/MFIP Update and Scam Warning
Beltrami County Health and Human Services
Because the federal government shutdown is still ongoing, SNAP and Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) food benefits will not be issued for November until the shutdown ends. As a reminder, food benefits already issued in October or earlier on existing cards will still be available for use by recipients.
The state has been notified about a text message scam offering “grocery relief money.”
