In 2014, the Minnesota Legislature appropriated $2,000,000 to Beltrami County to be used toward addressing the gaps in mental health services in our community. In order to provide the best array of programs possible, several agencies and community partners were included in the planning and implementation. While there is still much work to be done in providing services to people with mental illness, the work of the committee has resulted in several first ever cared models to our community and region.
