Purpose:

  • To focus law enforcement efforts on individuals involved in the sale, distribution and use of illegal narcotics. The task force is a cooperative effort on behalf of Beltrami County, Clearwater County, Lake of the Woods County, Mahnomen County, Roseau County, White Earth Reservation and the City of Bemidji.

  • At present, there are 5 full-time Agents and 1 full-time Gang Agent assigned to the task force which is supervised by Commander Gary Pederson of the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office.

Goals:

  • Protect citizens by targeting drug users and distributors.

  • Identify gang members and deter gang related activity.
