The role of the Community Guard member is to conduct checks at various sites (infrastructures and others as advised) and to observe suspicious activity.  Guard members are the “eyes and ears” of the Sheriff’s Office. Their hours of service offer a valuable and much needed service to the citizens of our county. In addition, Guard members may be called upon to provide other services as needed during emergency events.
