4-H is the oldest and largest publicly funded youth development organization in the US. Each 4-H club is encouraged to be creative and flexible to best meet the needs of the youth and families involved. |
Nutrition Education Assistants |
We are a research-based, peer nutrition education program geared to limited income audiences. Peer educators teach in a wide variety of community settings, including schools, food shelves, WIC clinics, senior citizen centers, day care centers, shelters, migrant centers, summer camps, low-income housing, local grocery stores, and also in homes. |
Master Gardeners 218-444-7916 - leave a message |
Participants gain additional knowledge and gardening skills, but most importantly, they learn where to look for the solutions to gardening problems. Master Gardeners volunteer in their communities by giving demonstrations, conducting plant clinics and answering calls on plants, pests, diseases, and general gardening problems. |
