Local Sales & Use Tax

Beltrami County has a Local Transit Sales and Use Tax and a Transit Vehicle Excise Tax.  The sales and use tax is 0.5 percent and the excise tax is $20 per vehicle transfer.  The taxes were imposed by Beltrami County by County Resolution Number 13-12-46 adopted December 3, 2013.  The County Board revised the project list by County Resolution Number 16-12-60 adopted December 13, 2016.
